Heartstrings take pride in offering a personal and completely bespoke service with as much or as little input into music choices as our clients wish. Our instrumental combinations are flexible and we can arrange music specially for you if it is not on our current list of repertoire.
No event is too big or small and we offer any size of ensemble in addition to our String Quartet. From solo violin, electric violin duo to full string orchestra, we can tailor our music and musicians to make your event unique.
We are formed from a group of exceptional professional musicians and all our players are great friends which shines through in our performances. Depending on the ensemble and location, our players may vary from those photographed on our site.
String Quartet
String quartet is the classic combination and offers unrivalled depth of sound and ambience. We perform very widely, for functions, recitals and weddings all over the world. Our diverse and extensive repertoire caters for any event and we can also arrange music specially for you to make sure your event is truly unique.
String Duo/Trio
Our duo and trio are in increasing demand and are the perfect choice if space is limited, as well as catering for different budgets. Our repertoire is similar to Heartstrings String Quartet and we play any style, ranging from classical to contemporary pop. Our duo is available either as two violins or violin and cello and our string trio is typically violin, viola and cello or two violins and cello.
Solo violin
Solo violin is a very popular choice and we are booked for events in the National Portrait Gallery to weddings all over the UK. We can either perform acoustically which has the advantage of us being completely mobile to move with our guests, or we play with subtle backing tracks. Electric Violin Duo
